Designing Spaces That Feel Like You
A longtime Tidewater resident with a genuine love of beautiful spaces — and a deep belief that meaningful transformation is within reach for every home.
The Designer
Meet Patricia Knode
Patricia Knode is the creative eye behind Tidewater Studio & Design, where imagination, practical solutions, and a genuine love of beautiful spaces come together. A longtime Tidewater resident, Patricia brings warmth, resilience, and a deeply personal perspective to every project.
Her creative background includes graphic design, desktop publishing, photography, music, writing, and home decorating. Rather than following trends blindly, Patricia looks for the personality already present in a home and builds upon it — creating rooms that feel welcoming, polished, and true to the people who live there.
Patricia understands that many homeowners have difficulty envisioning how new colors, furnishings, layouts, and finishing touches will look in their own spaces. Through personalized design concepts and realistic visualizations, she helps clients explore those possibilities before spending money or making permanent changes. She also works with real estate professionals to help buyers see the hidden potential in a property.
Her own life experiences have taught her how powerfully our surroundings can affect our comfort, confidence, and sense of belonging. She believes beautiful design should feel approachable — not intimidating — and that meaningful transformation does not always require a large budget.
At Tidewater Studio & Design, Patricia combines creativity with compassion, listening carefully to each client and treating every home as a personal story waiting to be brought to life.
Picture the possibility.
How We Work
Our Philosophy
Beauty in the Details
The right trim profile, the perfect lamp height, the fabric that photographs well and feels even better — we sweat the small things so you don't have to.
Rooms That Work
A beautiful room that doesn't function for your life isn't a success. We design for how you actually live — morning routines, dinner parties, quiet evenings.
Honest Guidance
We'll tell you when something isn't worth the price, when a simpler solution is better, and when to invest. Our job is to be your trusted advisor, not just your decorator.

What Clients Say
Working with Tidewater was the best decision I made for our new home. She understood exactly what I wanted — even when I couldn't articulate it myself.
Margaret H.

The process was so easy and the result was stunning. I finally have a bedroom that feels like a retreat instead of an afterthought.
Claire B.
Savannah, GA
I was skeptical about virtual design, but the package she delivered was more thorough than any in-person designer I'd worked with. Worth every penny.
